The main thing I did this week was have a flying visit down to Wales for Jasper’s 3rd birthday and what a lovely time we had! Yes, it was only quick but so worthwhile. He is a little star! Such good company and such funny turns of phrase. He’s going through a dinosaur phase so most of my birthday stuff for him was dinosaurs! He loved the blanket – the Cozee Home one that we did at QVC, the kids one where the dinosaurs light up a bit and glow at night, remember those? And two head torches that are really bright for when he helps daddy with the dogs in the fields, a massive craft box and more. This dinosaur costume from the natural history museum went down a storm!

And we had the most lovely walk on the beach and lunch in Llangrannog – Jasper was happy running backwards and forwards to miss the waves! “I see no ships…” 🙂

When we got back and picked up Phoebe from school, they dived straight in – they were both delighted with the craft chest that I bought him. 3,000 pieces, I think half of them sequins, and a bunch of those ended up on what they created for me. Although they did make this lovely necklace as well 🙂

Always such a pleasure to be with my lovely grandchildren and daughter. That’s what life’s all about isn’t it? They are coming down to Surrey in a couple of weeks too, so that’s really good.

What a lovely shot!

The weekend retreat last week went very well with the super agent Megan coming down from London to my writers’ retreat in Devon. She not only looked at my guests’ submissions and gave one to ones, but explained how having a literary agent works. One of the guests took this lovely picture and I’m very pleased to say, the videographer guy Ollie, seems to have done a good job on the Friday getting lots of shots for me not only to sell the retreats but also to sell the business this year hopefully. It included my usual group of ladies who kindly came round for a mini tea-room set-up, as well. One of the busiest days I’ve ever had, that one! Will show you once the video is done! (You never know, you might know somebody who wants to either come for a retreat, or alternatively book a viewing because they’re thinking of changing their life and retiring to the South West and want a house with a business to run for just a few days a month that brings in good money! More news soon. 

Glenn gets Cheeky!

Had the most funny show with Glen Campbell this week. He was on fine form and very cheeky with it! We had so many laughs during that show I can’t tell you! It was a Denim and Co today’s special value, looking at a cozy cardigan, and a lot more besides. If you go to Denim and Co, recently on air, and you see me and Glenn, have a little look at a few of them!! It’s not like work, sometimes, honestly!

Mally’s Farewell shows

Mally had the last of her shows this week, one of which I got to do. She’s going off to pastures new – people have been saying maybe it’s a fashion range, considering what she puts on her social media? – But some of her make-up is still available at clearance prices, well worth a look.
