Mid week I was off to Wales for another lovely family fun packed trip, and of course it was Halloween whilst I was there.

Nick and Lauren are super carvers, they did it so fast I didn’t even make it out of the room when I was finishing time to join in but was surprised to see these magnificent beauties. And this is what they look like when they lit up.

Kids had a lovely time I’m told after I’d gone, in the outfits trick or treating, Phoebe was a witch and Jasper was a skeleton!

And went to the National botanical Gardens near Carmarthen on one of the days, had a lovely day out, see the Vlog below for more.

One of the highlights was this owl called Tuxford or something like that, a snowy white male, it was fun hearing all about them and the kids enjoyed it although it was too much for little Jasper and he ended up falling asleep! Phoebe was fascinated. Lauren has always loved birds so it’s one of her things that we go to stuff like this. Several shows a day there, another good reason for going to this venue!

All in all, another delightful stay with my wonderful daughter, my favourite bit was coffee with just me and lollipop.

Happy birthday Evie. And mum for Monday!

Just wanted to say happy birthday to my niece Evie who was 10 on Halloween: the exclusive over on my blog this week is also a pic of Evie when mum was there – doing her best Insta pose! Big Tease- Big Reveal!

Keeley from Elemis and I did a split screen Facebook live this week with QVC UK page and her own, ‘Keeley Aydin skin whisperer.’ Be prepared, it goes live online on Monday and will sell very quickly – especially the brand new fragrance, vanilla orchid! Beautiful Sky

Another lovely sunset, this time through the windows of our presenter lounge in Chiswick. I still have yet to see the Northern Lights, no matter where I go, no luck so far. Fingers crossed one day!

Postbox topper

Couldn’t resist putting this one in since we’re not far away from poppy day, don’t forget to buy yours. What an amazing work of art this is! Such creativity out there and dedication. It’s lovely when they are allowed to remain there without being vandalised and this is one of the best I’ve seen. In remembrance.

Watch – Got to finally finish the end of ‘Love is Blind,’ USA, series 7. One of Lolly‘s favourites. Who’d have thought it would be down to just that many couples by the end! (I won’t give everything away! But you could tell some of them were really on the ropes almost from what we watched when they first met!)

At the cinema, however, there’s a new Hugh Grant called ‘Heretic’ – may well get to see it soon!

Funny – and this is how the QVC gang celebrated Hallowe’en! They’re a game bunch! (See it here).

Book of the Week – Lots to choose from this week, including Jack Reacher ‘s latest incarnation, ‘In Too Deep,’ which I devoured really pretty quickly! Then went straight onto my mentor Julie Mae Cohen and her latest in the bad men genre – ‘Eat, Slay, Love.’ Can really imagine this one as a TV series! Try it, three women linked by one fraudster, what will they do within him when they trap him! Fabulous characterisation and pretty good narration as well. Worth a try 🙂
