Debbie Flint

First Devon trip this year! And fun new “meet the presenter “ videos on QVC website!

More about Devon below, but I just wanted to tell you that all of the new ‘meet the presenter’ videos, that we’ve been recording for the last four months or so, are now up on QVC‘s website. See below under “watch“ for more info! Including some recommendations on who to watch first!

Devon this week was packed and I mean packed. A lovely group of five writers, including a super author called Kate Frost who has lots of books out already. And some wonderful new writers. They were all doing their own thing, and I did mine: making sure they were happy with some super meals. Like this one!  This is our most popular dish featuring the marinated kale and it went down a treat!

Also in this pic, bottom left, went to the local panto in Holsworthy, with my lovely mates Barbara and Penny, courtesy of lovely Sheila! It was great fun, oh yes it was! Treasure Island, the parrot Lesley stole the show as usual!

Plus the top photo is when I went to a dinner this week with a super speaker and my friends Sam and Helena and also Alix and had a lovely catch up.

Visited Jennie who had an expensive VR helmet and she insisted I had a go, it was very clever! Really felt like it was inside some sort of futuristic space station thing building a robot drone! Amazing what they can do nowadays! And of course the weather was mostly dull, but I kept myself amused and the week whizzed by. Also had a nice chat with neighbour Ryan, and went to lunch with Sheena … packed it in for sure! More on the @retreatsforyou social media platforms, take a look! I’m very pleased to say I had a flurry of bookings this week and I am mostly full between now and the end of July! Just one big retreat in May with lots of places, and a possible one in June but haven’t put it on the schedule yet. Apart from that they are nearly all full! I do love it when a plan comes together… And I love to be off to my life down in Devon, especially when it feels like a real break. And when it means I can go off to see Lauren in Wales at the end of it which I’m doing this weekend! Yay.

SNIPPETS

Blake is six!

Had a lovely time babysitting the other ones too, it was the turn of my little grandson Kaleb last weekend, whilst Brad took the birthday girl and her friends to see Matilda; what a great cake Kari made, with that theme! It was delicious as well! played lots of games including a little word game which the dear little boy was getting into, plus cars, plus jigsaw, plus chasing round & round, plus dressing up… We had a whale of a time. I don’t know about him but I needed a two hour nap that afternoon! Btw, the exclusive on my newsletter this week is about what I bought her! (See below and how to get the newsletter emailed to you each weekend).

Garden Gang

Now Gordon escape is back between 5 and 7 pm on weekdays on style channel and it was my turn to host the show last Friday. I really enjoyed it! Richard was on, so was Amelia, two of my favourites, plus a new favourite, Tom who is doing some of Richard’s products and he was fab, did you see it? Hope you enjoyed it if you did. I ended up buying a couple of things as usual!

I do love a little teaser like this. Did you get it? It took me several re-readings to realise!

Watch – whilst I have been catching up on The Traitors (by the time you read this it may be the final! Will Harry make it through?! Loving it)! And continuing with the several other series I have yet to finish, I thought I would point out, as mentioned at the top, that we have our new presenter getting to know videos available now online!  You can go find them on our homepage QVCUK.com, right at the bottom where it says ‘meet the presenters’! Definitely watch the ones by Charlie, and Ann, and Jackie! Not sure if I think mine features some of the best of the stories I recorded, but hope you like it! (See it here).

Blooper – snowboarder realises he’s made a big mistake… This one made me giggle while I was waiting for the potatoes to boil, whilst preparing the supper down in Devon! (See it here).

PodcastGo here to get the latest Inside QVC podcast from Will, and the current one if you haven’t listened yet :-). Don’t forget there’s a massive back list to catch up on, too!

This week Will finds out more about our lovely regular guest Beverley Cressman!

Vlog – just another day in the life down in Devon, with this week’s #Thursdaybantz! (See it here).

Book of the Week – So I finally got into Patricia Cornwell and the Kay Scarpetto Pathologist crime series! I’m on book one which incredibly goes back to the earliest days of computers and before mobile phones! So retro! There are 27 books in the series so I thought it’s about time! Enjoying it so far, really good writing and an excellent writer! ‘Post-Mortem’ is the first one, introducing her, her family set up, her love life, her conflicts at work, and lots of detail about crime scenes and autopsies et cetera. If you love that type of thing give it a go! At least I know I’ve got lots to devour, ahead of me!

Not, as I first thought, the wake up with me box! Seen below, where the back of the box shows you all seven steps, and it features some of the icons!. Enjoy! Three paste the icons skincare set! I’ve been really enjoying using the night routine, which includes not only a separate retinal but a glycolic as well, in a proper Korean style multi layer routine. Check out what they look like in the boxes and look forward to it this weekend! Going on sale early, check online now! This is quite a famous, quite premium range, that lots of people have been excited about and it’s finally here! This is the routine of the daytime one, written conveniently on the back of the box so you can’t get it wrong!

Go to this section of our website each week to discover the current ones which often end on Sunday nights if there are any stocks left!

Big deals are available on air for usually a week, they may be longer online if stocks last. Occasionally they last a couple of weeks but there are new ones every Sunday night so come back again and see them on the link above.

Next week – I’ve been invited to a very special event which is kind of a once in a lifetime I think considering what’s going on in the national picture. I won’t say what it is until I know I’m going, at time of writing I’m not sure! Anyway it’s on Monday evening the 29th, after I’ve been to see the recording of ’The Apprentice: You’re Fired!’ We’re just in the audience that’s all, and I’m going with Ali Keenan and a couple of other friends from QVC. Should be great fun!  And possibly a little bit from when I go to Wales on the 27th! Have a great week everyone 🙂

Best wishes
