Found a new favourite jacket last week, when we launched a new one from Denim and co- and it’s sold out really quickly. Doesn’t beat 177 300, my favourite, and we only had five colours! But it makes a nice change. Pictured here in green.
Also, had a lovely time with Lorna as usual – our afternoon tea with the two auction winners from the Medical Detection Dogs day, has been postponed until August at the girls request. But still had some smashing fun on-air.

Watch – Brad Pitt is his usual outstanding self in the new movie produced by Lewis Hamilton called F1. You don’t need to know anything about Formula One racing to watch this movie, the story of it has been making a comeback like no other. Bit of romance, lots of drama, and nail biting sections as well. What I really loved about this was that it was so cleverly done, interweaving quite a clever backstory in an excellent way. Really well put together, some brilliant scenes and I will probably watch it again at some stage and that says it all! Highly recommended. 8.75 out of 10!

Dartmoor Pony Mower
One way to cut the grass! A familiar site in Bellstone, when I went to see my friend Alex this week. What a beautiful shot. The church is actually the location for a tea room open at weekends, and these Dartmouth ponies roam free across the land and weave their way down the lanes and villages whenever they want to vary their diet! Beautiful.

Pretty parrot!
Lucky for me I did a show with de Jager this week, and gorgeous George had these fabulous parrot tulip bulbs! I’ve had them before and they are absolutely gorgeous. I’ll be getting mine in the autumn when I can plant them underground ready for the spring. Goodness thinking ahead to spring! But this year is whizzing by isn’t it. With the kids off school soon. And my lollipop is down not this weekend but next weekend for a big family get-together and hopefully that photograph to make into a canvas for Mum of her descendants! All 42 of them! Pray no rain, including for the garden party I am organising this weekend! In Devon. Long journey on Friday night 🙂

And the winner is…
The Golden Trowel this week was a special presenter edition – this (here) was what happened in the run-up 🙂 backstage shenanigans! Funny day. I’ll try and find out who won!
Also another link (here) from off air this week, lovely Anne Dawson is leaving! Here was her announcement online 🙂 she goes on the 31st of July after 26 years. End of an era. We are missing her already.
Exclusive – on this week’s newsletter (sign up to get yours in the inbox every weekend), the exclusive content is me without any eye makeup on and just lipstick, looks very weird! Well a bit more weird than normal LOL.
Plus one of the funniest behind the scenes conversations between guests regarding a magnifying mirror! With just a dash of Risqué LOL. Talking of which, in a couple of weeks we’re going to Chipping Sodbury, to see the adult panto starring none other than our very own James Murden! I’ll see Ali Keenan and some of the guests! Do go along if you can.
Blooper – several bloopers in this funny this week with gardening guest Emma getting ready to go live. Funny! See it here.
Vlog – not quite a Vlog but my behind the scenes makeup routine – thank God for makeup and a brush! Ha ha. Check out the ‘before’ in this (here)!
Book of the Week – Listening to ‘Never Tear Us Apart’, a fabulous time slip by lovely Rowan Coleman who was at the retreat in France recently. Expert tutor and lovely person, this is another time travel story which I love! (One of my favourite books this century was the summer of impossible things!) Set in Malta in WWII and present day, it features some very clever plot ideas and is quite compelling. Well done Rowan! Recommended.

Ps I support medical detection dogs. We raised over £2,300 in our June event. Find out more and donate on this link.
PS want to subscribe to my newsletter? Click on the newsletter button at the bottom of this blog.
