So the big day is here once again! Very exciting this year because it’s a very different one for me, for obvious reasons. Had a smashing trip down to Wales this week to see Lauren and her family, HK and I stayed in the gorgeous cabin, highly recommended if you want a romantic getaway! Their holiday let business, ‘The Hiveaway Glamping’, is fairly busy but we managed to squeeze in two nights and it was glorious on the morning we left.

They booked a trip on a festive steam train where the kids met Santa and his elves and got lots of treats! (Top pic) A real old school carriage as well! We told them how we used to go to work on trains like that and it made us feel very old!

Went for a wonderful walk. And had some lovely meals, some of which Nick cooked and some we treated them to, out at restaurants. All in all a lovely lead up to Xmas eve and Xmas morning with my new man, Howard. Hope u all have a lovely one!!
