It always lifts my heart when the first daffodils appear and these were in the bed near the entrance to my flat this week! Just two, that I’ve spotted on the whole 26 acre estate, but it’s a start! Hope you’re surviving the bad weather and enjoying some of our amazing bargains on QVC!

It was time to have an eye check and an ear check this week. Eyes much the same, but ears: the left has evened up and got slightly worse to match the right which apparently is normal for my “age“.

(Although when we got to talking about looking our age, the 33 year old hearing specialist lady, who looked 18 and said she felt it, thought I was in my 40s. That will do! LOL. Thank God for brushes and make up!) don’t forget to check out the last of the Tarte bargains on our website and stock up if you can!
Had lots of appointments this week including osteopath, nails, hair, one of the last appointments I made before I started seeing H at the beginning of November – I’d like to work ahead with my calendar. We are now putting in dates for April and May for some lovely trips away together, and having some fun. It’s going to be a great year!
SNIPPETS
Some funnies this week to make you smile.

Celine Dion funny
I chuckled at this one! Say it out loud to yourself while you work it out!

Menopause Mindset
And this one resonated big time! Funny how you can lose certainty over things you’ve known your whole life, like my family’s football team the men all used to play for, when the kids were toddlers – I kept saying it was Raynes Park United but it was actually Colliers Wood United! Ho hum, never mind!

Super size of the month for Feb – Gatineau
And check out this picture – you are amongst the first to find out about the new skin smoother launching Monday – Gatineua’s acid peel – leaves your skin like glass! Try it no matter which brand you use, for fresher looking skin!
Exclusive – on this week’s newsletter (sign up to get yours in the inbox every weekend), the exclusive content is an insta ac that really makes you think twice about complaining about your / my issues – big feet / big tum, etc. – seriously…
And thanks to those who commented about my sister’s blog that she wrote which hit home for so many people – your comments in response to my newsletter have been very heartwarming. (Sign up if you haven’t already, as above). But here’s the link again from last week, in case you missed it and didn’t get to read her blog yet – I should say she’s a counsellor now, and I get to go to her graduation on Friday next week!
Watch – been at work most nights so not watched much this week but I must say this Hallmark movies parody post tickled me!! See it here.
Or Clara’s latest…! The comments are better than the clip. See it here.
H and I saw ‘The Full Monty’ again on BBC iPlayer which is available till the 31st of January. So worth watching and tear jerking performances as well as lots of laughs. Then we started watching ‘The Rip’ starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and were hooked straight away, another great movie from this dynamic duo. Am looking forward to seeing Hamnet at the cinema too!
Blooper – ohhhhhh Jackie Kablerrrr!!! Lol. See it here.
Vlog – new bed new bed new bed!! It’s 12 yrs since I had an ‘our bed’ and I’m delighted with this new one from Sealy! See it here.
Book of the Week – Hamnet

Since we’re about to go and see Hamnet at the cinema I thought this was a good recommendation this week – it certainly looks like a good audiobook! Still working thru Blunt Force the Lynda La Plante Jane Tennison novel for now! Will keep u informed.
And a book mention for our lovely QVC guest, chef Theo Micheal’s and his new cook book, via a Will Gowing blooper post – see it here.
QVC TOP DEALS FOR THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS
Friday (today) – go to qvcuk.com and search ‘today’s special value’ to see and buy what’s left of the Perricone barrier defence set
Saturday – it’s Skechers time with the ‘go walk eight Nova’ slip-ins – most people say they come up quite big as usual if you’re interested in the fit. The white ones are lovely and so are the navy in particular.

Sunday – Richard Jackson is here with his premium moss remover! A great price as well.
Big deals ending Sunday night
Go to this section of our website each week to discover the current ones which often end on Sunday nights if there are any stocks left!
Big deals are available on air for usually a week, they may be longer online if stocks last. Occasionally they last a couple of weeks but there are new ones every Sunday night so come back again and see them on the link above.
Next week should include:
– style – bio heat composter with turning crank
– extra – SiMPLi Stone bath mats in a set of one or two, these are actually brilliant if you don’t mind standing on something hard and the most important thing is that the water doesn’t soak through and leave mats damp or mouldy! They are quite brilliant!

– main – Lock and Lock 10-piece pantry storage container set
– beauty – kennzi compact facial steamer
Offer of the Week – starts Sunday is the UK lash original lash duo or the brow duo, I swear by this stuff and will never be without it! Using it regularly means I don’t have to worry so much about my brows, in fact sometimes I have to trim them! Hopefully it’s there for my 11 pm show on Sunday (when I also have 8 o’clock cozy home?, 11 o’clock beauty, and midnight with denim and co – with a new wide leg trouser tsv!)
Now back to the today’s special values for the rest of the week –
PLEASE NOTE – these are correct at time of writing but may be subject to change.
Monday – denim and co comfy denim wide leg trouser in different lengths and very affordable
Tuesday – Dyson airstrait returns – amber silk gifting with case, going on sale this weekend
Wednesday – skin Sense collagen gummies, 2×60 PCS two months supply
Thursday – Kim and co stretch ponte straight trousers petite or other lengths!
Friday – neom well-being four-piece comforting ritual collection, looking forward to this one, also join me Friday at 11 for garden offers ending today!
Friday 9 pm Ruth Langsford’s fashion is back with a nehru (grandad style collar) jumper. And look out for big Curtis Stone offers on Sunday!
Next week – a reunion with Ali Keenan and our other halves! And a review about the fabulous film called Hamnet, winning lots of awards at the moment, so I’m looking forward to it. Let’s hope the weather cheers up and more of those daffodils come out! Have a great week 🙂
Best wishes
