Well, what a lovely week. Ended up enjoying some wonderful walks in the woods including in our Banstead bluebell carpet of blue. I just love this time of year, don’t you?
It was warm enough that we actually went out on the motorbike on Thursday, and had such a beautiful ride down to Tenterden in Kent and back. I really enjoy these moments and the wind in my face as Howard drives us along on his motorbike that’s more like a big armchair, comparatively safe compared to some, and he’s a great rider.

Hope you had a great week too. And here are some of the other highlights for the week!
SNIPPETS

Park Fun
The kids were a joy again this week, my two grandchildren, Blake and little Kaleb, having a lovely time in the park and enjoying their Nan Nan buying them a magazine and having a little mini picnic on Parsons Green. Always a pleasure to catch up with my son’s family. Next week I’m in Devon but the week after I’ll be seeing my boy for my birthday theatre trip, looking forward to it even if I can’t remember what I booked or even if I did book it! LOL.

In the shades
We’ve got some amazing sunglasses on QVC at the moment, one brand, Max, is very impressive, well-made, beautiful designs even though they’ve got quite a price tag. Have a look on our website if you want some and spread the cost on Easy Pay. Had a great hour with Emma, the guest this week, she really does know her stuff!

Late nights with Linda
Pretended to create a podcast with my lovely sister as part of her final work for her degree which concludes this summer, we were in a recording studio, basically a tiny little cupboard, up in Time Square in Sutton. Really enjoyed it and she’s ever so clever, using big words and everything, like intersectionality and intersubjectivity and psychodynamics… Good job I only had to read a script and not understand it! She’ll finally have a degree, that makes all five of the children, me and my siblings! Mum is so proud.

Watch – Glenrothan
This film at the cinema was good but should’ve been better. I really don’t like Alan Cummings as a leading man, I don’t think he carried it off. And considering Brian Cox (succession fame) was a director as well, I would’ve thought this would’ve been better, I definitely won’t see it again. But I do think that it’s worth a watch if you like the Scottish islands as you see lots of them (and Alan Cummings staring into the distance, smoking pensively)!
Michael
The Michael Jackson story – this could not be more opposite from the above. The guy who played Michael Jackson and the kid who played him as a young boy, were outstanding. Absolutely brilliant. And the story was executive produced by the whole remaining siblings (although no mention of Janet whatsoever which indicates a family rift of some kind). Nonetheless, fascinating backstory to how he ended up. And they stopped it at his 1988 concert in London which was handy because we all know what happened after that. But there’s no denying the man was a musical genius and this helps to lift the lid on how he became like he did. Horrible fathers have got a lot to answer for!
Blooper/funny – Oh my God, this was so funny this week, from Jackie and Katie! Watch the whole thing, it’s absolutely hilarious!! See it here.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️
