Had the most lovely trip down to Wales again to see lollipop and her family, and help celebrate little Jasper’s second birthday! Bought the kids some matching welly socks!
Which they loved, just right for the windy, drizzly trip to the beach. Which we all loved! Nothing like the energy from crashing waves, I recorded about 10 minutes of it so I can watch it back when I’m at home maybe sitting on the exercise bike 🙂 or doing Bodyblade. See vlog below for more.
And of course had some lovely walks. Really enjoyed going round Carmarthen shopping as well, check out my social media for more details, including some highlights from my Valentine’s Day! Hope yours was good, especially if you couldn’t give a monkeys about about Valentine’s Day anyway! LOL.
Also saw Brad and his family, at the weekend, and played bat and ball out in the park. Have ticked lots of boxes this week!
Plus see below for when we went to the beach, and listen to the waves! I took a lovely long video so I can listen to it again when I get back home :-). What a great week with a lovely family. X and I’ve got a nice Valentine’s card from my daughter into the bargain 🙂 nice 🙂 X
SNIPPETS
Panto Fun
Another Feb, another panto with lovely Gabby Bradshaw and her hubby Oli in Honour Oak Park. Patrick came with me where we met Rebecca Perfect and family, had a lovely tea and cake, and a really smashing afternoon. Oh yes we did! Next year I hope she’ll tell me earlier so I can help publicise it because you should all go if you can, it’s fabulous! All for charity as well.
Model Huddle
Behind-the-scenes at QVC last week and it was just like the old days! The shark flex style today special value model team filled the green room! There was a lovely energy to the room, and the day. Roll on the days when everyone is back in the studio all the time, you never know it might happen!
Broke Bonsai
I broke my bonsai! Oops. I did something to it… Richard Jackson is giving me some advice and said it’s either been in the cold in a draft, or not watered enough… I’m not sure which 🙂
He said remedy those things and then feed it a quarter of the strength of plant food from March… Watch this space 🙂 (It was the big one my sister bought me when I moved in and it was doing so well at one point… fingers crossed :-))
Watch – Sing 2 on Netflix
They’ve got a big projector now set up for what they call “film night“, where Phoebe gets mummy and daddy time after Jasper‘s gone to bed. So it was only right that we sat and watched a kids film. And boy was it funny. Some superb cameos. The lizard character is one of the funniest things I’ve seen! Loved the premise of trying to get on a talent show. And Taron Egerton as the gorilla voice, well all I can say is, man, that guy can sing! Highly recommended if you want some bellylaughs – even if there’s no kids around 🙂 8 out of 10
Also, here’s a nice little one, warm the cockles of your heart 🙂 love this Guy 🙂 (See him here). #PayItForward
Funny – 😂😂😂
After the meerkat or whatever it was (squirrel? LOL) a few years ago calling “Alan!“, Comes this (here)…
Podcast – Go here to get the latest Inside QVC podcast from Will, and the current one if you haven’t listened yet :-). Don’t forget there’s a massive back list to catch up on, too!
This week will speaks to Olympian Michelle Griffith Robinson who talks about working with QVC‘s menopause your way, with a special focus on how to feel positive, feel good about yourself, and improve your confidence, with the life coach.
Vlog – the beach trip! (See it here).
Book of the Week – ‘Cruel and Unusual’. Book four in the Kay Scarpetta series, excellent writer Patricia Cornwell. Romping through this one because I’m in the car so much lately! Enjoying it again, I do like the relationships that are being built across these books. Peppered of course by inquiries into murders for the chief medical examiner to solve. This tale involves an executed criminal who might have been the wrong man…
