Fun times with Brad and his kids :-) and seven days of sneaky peeks

My lovely boy is such a good dad bless him. Had a lovely time with them in a belated Mother’s Day celebration when he cooked me dinner and we had some fun and games. Those people getting the newsletter each week will have an exclusive of Brad doing what my dad used to do with me, to the tune of “she’s an airman, she’s an airman, she can fly fly fly fly fly!“ (It may be a new trend in the family 🙂 LOL). He had also visited me as well, and spent time painting their faces. Then they decided to reciprocate and paint his face bless him! Funny!

Then they had a lovely walk in the woods and they played on the Narnia carvings. There’s even a couple of swings someone has put up on the old trees.

When my kids were little they always wanted a big tree and Brad would always talk about building a treehouse one day. We never got round to it but hopefully he will with his kids! If anyone can, Brad can.

We knew it was time to go home when they started getting silly and playing hide and seek in some very unexpected places. I remember when I used to hide in a cupboard, when I was that small I could close the door behind me. In what mum called a ‘sideboard’ made of wood. Kids eh?! I just love them.

Lauren is coming down at Easter and I can’t wait.

SNIPPETS

Liz Earle bargain

Had another retreat this week and even though I couldn’t really talk with my croaky voice, I managed to do some nice dinners, and discuss the bargains on QVC! I think by the end of the week I had converted some of them, who didn’t really know about shopping telly, onto air fryers, ceiling mattresses, and of course our beauty bargains! The Liz Earle is one such deal, look out for it this weekend! This is where lots of people stock up especially if you love the originals. Hope it’s still around by my evening show 🙂

Spring!

Look at these beautiful, beautiful flowers. I love them! Spring makes me feel so happy with all the beautiful colours erupting out of the ground, doesn’t it you?

Thank you – raised it!

Well, I exceeded the £150 target I set myself, now I’ve just got to do 100 push-ups every day in April! Hopefully my cold will be gone by then, I haven’t even managed to do my yoga every night when I’ve been feeling a little too tired 🙂 but this will spur me on! Thank you everyone who gave. If you haven’t yet and would like to, every £5 counts, the link is here thank you very much.

Watch – Couple of things caught my eye, online so won’t cost anything!

The new Comic Relief skit of The Traitors. Did you see this year’s comic relief show? It was on whilst I was on air, coughing and splattering with the lurgy, so much so I had to not come in the next day and the next day! Very unusual for me. Anyway, this skit was much better than last year’s! Relevant to people who watched series 2 – and I loved it! Can’t wait for the next one :-). (Thanks Fraser Anderson, one of my  #Thursdaybantz regulars, for pinging me this one!)

Funny – You can’t beat a Jelly Baby, can you? (See it here). LOL.

PodcastGo here to get the latest Inside QVC podcast from Will, and the current one if you haven’t listened yet :-). Don’t forget there’s a massive back list to catch up on, too!

This week, Will takes a trip down memory lane and focuses on the garden 🙂

Vlog – And if you want to find out more about #Thursdaybantz, watch this week’s one, where last night I had a little moan about how ill I’ve been LOL! No, seriously if you’re wondering why I was off last weekend, watch this, here :-).

Book of the Week – So I’ve started a new series. Book One is called “Rich men, dead men”, by Michael Dylan, and follows the dramas in a police department headed by Simon Wise, who has some massive stuff going on in his personal life and in his career. Liking it so far, I will keep you informed…

QVC TOP DEALS FOR THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS

Friday (today) – go to qvcuk.com and search ‘today’s special value’ to see and buy what’s left of the Dune leather heeled sandal, already online midweek.

Saturday – the set of two folding recliners from a company called green lounge, and a massive gardening weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday – although this is exciting, the Ms Earl today special value is here, already online so go and look, featuring the nighttime moisturiser as well as the three heroes in the original fragrance. This will be super popular, I’ve seen the price! Hopefully there’s some left for my 10 pm show. Just after I launch Monday’s new doormat, something that has been selling really well so look out for it!

Big deals ending Sunday night

Go to this section of our website each week to discover the current ones which often end on Sunday nights if there are any stocks left!

Big deals are available on air for usually a week, they may be longer online if stocks last. Occasionally they last a couple of weeks but there are new ones every Sunday night so come back again and see them on the link above.

Next week should include:

– style – Sloggi4 pack maxi brief

– extra – a callus remover from silk’n

– beauty – Foreo Kiwi microdermabrasion skin renewal treatment

Now back to the today’s special values for the rest of the week –

Monday – Bernini Aqua terra doormat, different colours, very good price!

Tuesday – Kipling Zia medium cross Body bag, great price for a bag 🙂

Wednesday – Elizabeth Grant advanced retinol supersize three-piece day and night collection. I’ve been trying this and it really makes a difference, super glass like skin the next morning. I will have it at midnight on Tuesday!

Thursday – Wynne denim pleat Back jacket, quite affordable for this brand too!

Friday – it’s Easter weekend don’t forget! A massive day of gardening for Good Friday including, going on sale mid week, a new lawnmower from GTech with a 42 cm cutting width and an impressive one hour charger! Don’t miss it!

Friday 9 pm – Saturday’s Moda in Pelle Balize leather Trainer, plus something that will be all over our social media for days in advance, the new ninja flex Draw dual air fryer will be here. I’m afraid I feel a purchase coming on… Had the most amazing roast potatoes that I needed to do really fast at the weekend! Look at my newsletter (assuming you’re a subscriber, see below if not) to find out more 🙂

Next week – it’s here, the 50th anniversary celebration get-together for colleagues past and present from Piccadilly radio as was (now Key 103, in Manchester). Sam I will not have seen for 40 years I’m sure my ex-husband Toni will be there apparently, but I doubt he’ll let me post a photo LOL. And a trip to the Lake District while I’m up there, to see my old pal who I used to sing in concerts with, Barry Parsons. It’ll be another busy one… Hope my cold has gone! X

Best wishes
