Part two of my Devon trip this week, and after the kids went home, I had no one except me and Howard to worry about, and we had a lovely few days.
It was superb not to have anything on, on almost any of the days and we just made it up as we went along. Did a bit of gardening and tidying, did a bit of sorting out and chucking, and did a bit of tourist stuff too! Hope you had a great week as well, especially now the rain has come back with a vengeance!
Vlog – just one of the trips out, and we had such lovely weather and a really nice afternoon again. I love doing the tourist thing with my man. See it here.
Vlog 2 – our day out to BosCastle just over the border in Cornwall to see my friend Barry again and we had a really lovely day on Sunday, lunch and then I walked down to the harbour! (See it here). That’s where we took the header picture this week. We had some great times for sure and although he was a little bit poorly, it was lovely to spend some time away just us in my place in Devon. No nibbles yet on a buyer, see bottom of this blog for details if you know someone and can help me out by passing it on!

River ramble
We had a lovely walk down by the river where I used to walk the dogs, it wasn’t too hot and it was early evening, we sat and listened to the river and enjoyed a brief respite from the weather being so hot. Really lucky with it all in Devon this week. Can you see a little bruise on my face in this picture? I went to have some moles removed by cryotherapy, it’s all on my latest #Fridaybantz Facebook live from last week if you want to go and have a little look!
Debbie Does Sheena
Talked about singing a lot with Barry on Sunday in BosCastle, as he was my singing partner back before lockdown when we did a few concerts. Well anyway, I discovered this in one of my old albums. I was in Stars in Their Eyes in 1991, as Sheena Easton. Thing is, it sounded like Sheena Easton but it looks like Eartha Kitt!! Thought it would make you smile so I’ve popped it in here 🙂 (you can find my rendition on YouTube somewhere, possibly if you search “Debbie does Eartha does Sheena!”
Prada Posing
Just had to include this one, such a fun night out. So sad Howard could not be there, one of the rare occasions he would not have been the tallest – producer Mark’s partner Andy on the end is 6 foot 4, an inch taller than Howard! Anyway, we had such a lovely meal and then a really good performance of the show, see below. Must do it again sometime soon!

Watch – Theatre – Devil Wears Prada, at the Dominion Tottenham Court Road. Another viewing of this fabulous musical, this time with a small group of QVC friends. Poor Howard was not very well with a sore throat so he couldn’t make it. But it was great fun to be with everybody!
