The Dogs Go To Devon - Finally!
30 November 2016

And boy have they loved it! Last weekend, my two faithful mutts finally made the long trip down to Devon and got totally over-excited when they reached their new home - in the lobby of Retreats for You! I'll be living nearby and when I'm down there I'll be at RFY much of the time, and the lovely Wendy who helps to run the retreats will be overseeing goings on with Daisy and Gracie when I'm not there, walking them etc. What a lovely life they'll have! And so will I - I'm helping to run it and overseeing some of the developments, including this week, getting a dog flap!

The two choccies didn't take long to learn how to use it - Gracie was faster too, but the doggy treat training aids helped! Had some lovely times there with family this week too - feels like a holiday every time I go there - do go to my Facebook page to find out more with my Vlog updates - I did three this week!

vlog one from Sheepwash - with Brad

vlog two from Sheepwash - with the medieval strips

vlog three - with the frost and the thatch - nb part two is in the comments.

Here's the blog with the info on the latest RFY newsletter and how you can book a retreat there - if you're in Sheepwash call in one day too, if I'm there we can have a coffee! email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and they will be able to help coordinate, no doubt. In fact there's already been a lady enquiring about a stay, who said she loves QVC, and she's not even a writer and could she and her cockapoo come to stay sometime! Well if enough QVC people wanted to stay for four nights, Mon to Fri, one week next year, I'm sure anything's possible - apart from five cockapoos! lol.

So I had a lovely time in Iceland with my pal Gill - we had the most amazing time in the Blue Lagoon thermal spa - omg it was incredible. My new QVC blog (here) will have a few more pics and vids.

Other news - this week I started listening to the audiobook of the long awaited next instalment of Peter Grant, DCI, and the Rivers of London series of novels by Ben Aaranovitch - he's a genius, I have to say, and so is Kobna Holdbrook Smith's narration too - one of the best. It's the sixth outing and I've loved them all so far. Go here to my Read it Write it Sell it blog to find out more about this supernatural detective suspense adventure comedy story... lol

Have a lovely week!
