August Challenge Update - something's working! I was feeling quite flat-belly today, so got my pal, the mode Goody to take these pics in our presenters’ lounge. Nice Tiana B dress (size 12!) - am v proud my August Challenge is going well. One min leg master and a couple of one min Bodyblade exercises plus a dog walk each day. (I feel most trim on the days I do longer walk. ) doc at last health check said do longer walks, don't eat carbs late, and it's working, all under the freedom eating umbrella, naturally (Till the Fat Lady Slims book). Scale will not tell you... After another fun and fabulous Monday Live B2U Hub on our Facebook Group (see below to join) I thought I’d post some of the comments that were made. Lots of stuff going on on our group at the moment – with many members discussing on B2U and also on sister group Break the Habit BTU about their August Challenges. See below for a selection of them. Plus my own begins with being happy I survived a wedding reception without too much of a struggle – I’m not a big drinker anyway and had half a glass of wine, and some…
Daily Express 28/7/2014 Am writing this just after one of the most interactive sessions we’ve had so far with the stalwart of our Back to You shows on QVC – Bodyblade Bruce. Bruce Hymanson got himself especially ‘up to speed on Facebook’ just so he could join in on our current run of Monday 8-9pm live chat sessions – the B2U Live Monday Hub. Well done Bruce! It was an amazingly detailed session and well received by our B2U regulars! At the bottom of this page you’ll see the key questions asked and his answers. What a pleasure it was to have him…
Deb in the shade, July 2014 What a lovely sunny week it’s been! Which has made me think it’s time to explain what I mean when I say I’ve got photosensitive skin – we’ve all got something, right? And mine’s just a way of life, not a whinge or a ‘feel sorry for me’ plea, but something I’ve been promising to explain for a while now, so see the Monday Essay below – life with photosensitive skin! Back to You live hub launch! Monday’s 8-9pm till September we are asking everyone on Back to You to come log in on facebook and join us for a…
Professor Robert Lustig, world authority on health, and me! Monday Essay - they are what you feed them... And so are you! had a wonderful day at this year's health seminar in London, near Holborn, courtesy of lovely Dr Alex Richardson, my former colleague when I worked in the health industry.. Their annual symposium has become a must-see. So much so that QVC's guest Dale Pinnock was also there, tweeting with me beforehand. The theme this year is about addiction. It was a day of talks, so this is merely a summary of some highlights! The overall message was the same as we've been hearing all year. Professor Graham…
